How do plants help erosion control

Answer:

erosion can be caused my multiple factors. some of them include wind, precipitation, hits by waves from the ocean, etc. plants can hold the dirt/soil in place with their roots. you can do am experiment to prove this. get a plant and some soil constantly poor water on it. you should see the soil eroding away. now try it without the plant... see how it erodes faster?
