"Conceptualization" refers to the ability of an individual to process information about a particular person, thing, event, idea and the like over time. It is said that such ability changes as people mature and this is because of people's different experiences and ideas that they learn as they get older.

For example, a young person who dreams of becoming a doctor conceptualizes the doctor's job as something luxurious in which he can gain a lot of money. On the other hand, an older person who is more mature conceptualizes a doctor's job as something hard and having no time for family. This is a clear example which shows the difference in conceptualization as one gets older.
