To Simon D'Ázure,
Recent changes in your health care premium payment structure
With regards to the recent law passed by the United States government about the transfer of the health insurance of all the citizens from their subsized plans to private sectors, I wish to notify you of the changes that would be implemented by the company for all its staffs whether retired or still in active service.
We are greatful that you worked with us for over 25years where you dedicated your time and resources towards the growth of the company. Over the years, after your retirement, we have always catered for the 40% of your health insurance care premium payment while the Federal government caters for the remaining one under its subsidized plan. But with this recent changes, the whole payment has been transferred to the private sector meaining that there would be no subsidy by the government from the month of April.
Going by this recent development, It would be a great toll on us to cater for the health care insurance premium of all our staff hence the reason we devise a means to cushion this effect. The management of the company reached an agreement that, from 1st of October, 2020, all the health care premium payment would be shared between the staffs and the company in a 50:50 ratio.
This letter is to serve as an information on what you should expect to do from the said date. Should you have any question, please contact Mary Berth on (541) 754-3010.
