Answer:

20÷4=5g/ml, bcz it is in mL but in other situations you will need to convert it to L by dividing it by 1000

Hello There!!

Given,

Mass= 20.0g

Volume= 4.0mL

To Find,

Density of substance

We Know,

\text{Density} = \frac {\text{Mass}}{ \text{Volume}}

Inserting The Values

\text{Density} = \frac{20.0 \text{ \: g}}{4.0 \: \text{mL}} \\ \\ \text{Density} = \frac{ \cancel{20.0}\text{ \: g}}{ \cancel{4.0} \: \text{mL}} \\ \\ \text{Density} = 5.0 \: \text{g/mL}

\therefore \text{Option B}= 5.0 \: \text{g/mL is the correct answer}

Hope this helps
