1) d=6 so r=d/2=3

V=4\pie *r^3/3= 4*3^3\phi/3=36\pie

2) for the first figure:

V= 4*4^3\pie/3= 256\pie /3

V2=BH/3=r^2\pie*H/3=3^2*6,5\pie/3=58,5\pie/3

256/3 > 58,5/3

So the ball has greater volume
