In an isosceles Δ, the two equal sides each measure 14 meters, and they include an angle of 44*. Find the area of the isosceles triangle, to the nearest square meter.

Given that the formula to find the area of triangle is shown above. Then you can just substitute the following value into the formula :

Let,

a = 14m

b = 14m

c = 44°

A = 1/2 × 14 × 14 × sin 44°

= 68m²
