I am writing this message because I had accidently put a wrong answer on this one instead of another question that I was supposed to answer.

A thousand apologies :-(

Answer:

let,

width=X and

length=X+11

so,2(l+b)=78

l+b=39. (I)

now put value of l and b in eq.(i)

=((X+11)+x)=39

=2x+11=39

=2x=28

= then X=14feet

so,length(X+11)=25feet

and width(X)=14feet
