The rent for the van for 1 day is $75.

Then the rent for the van for d days is $(75×d)

=$75d.

The charge for 1 mile is $ 0.25.

Then the charge for m miles $(0.25×m)

= $ 0.25m.

Total cost is

C= 75d+0.25m

where C is the total cost in $.

d is time in day.

and m is the distance in miles.
