Answer:

The two pizzas will same cost when 2 toppings are added on the pizza.

Explanation:

We are given the following in the question:

Papa's pizza:

Cost of pizza = $6.80

Cost of each topping = $0.90

Let x be the total number of toppings.

Total cost =

c_1(x) = 6.80 + 0.90x

Little Italy's pizza:

Cost of pizza = $7.30

Cost of each topping = $0.65

Let x be the total number of toppings.

Total cost =

c_2(x) = 7.30 + 0.65x

Equating the two equations, we get,

6.80+0,90x = 7.30 + 0.65x\\\Rightarrow 0.25x = 0.5\\\Rightarrow x = 2

Thus, the two pizzas will same cost when 2 toppings are added on the pizza.
