How did regional differences and the issue of slavery divide the constitution convention

Southern delegates wanted slaves to be counted as part of the population of the states, that would give more people in congress, the north disagreed.

A constitutional convention is a political meeting, which aims to write a new constitution or revise an existing constitution.
