My bill at a restaurant was $25.00 even. If the tax rate is 6% how much would I have to pay

Answer: $26.5

Explanation:

Payment to be made will be Bill + tax rate, where Tax rate is 6% of the bill

Tax rate = 6/100 × $25.00

= 0.06 x 25.00

= $1.5

Payment to be made is therefore $25 + $1.5 = $26.5
