Answer:

The diameter is equal to 27.96

Explanation:

Area of a circle = πr²

Since the area is given as 614.44, and π is a constant which is equal to 3.142 , so we will find the value of r

Area of a circle = πr²

614.44 = 3.142r²

Divide both-side of the equation by 3.142

614.44/3.142 = 3.142r² /3.142

195.56 = r²

Take the square root of both-side

√195.56 = √r²

13.98 = r

But diameter = 2r

= 2(13.98)

=27.96

Therefore the diameter is equal to 27.96
