Split the figure into two rectangles
The dimensions of the smaller rectangle on top are: length = 6 width = 10 height = 4
V = 6(10)(4) = 240
The dimensions of the larger rectangle on the bottom are: length = 6 width = 14 height = 16
*You can find the height by subtracting 20 - 4 = 16*
V = 6(14)(16) = 1,244
Add the volumes: 240 + 1,244 = 1,584
The sum, 1,584, is the total volume
