Answer:

1. Multiply the numerators.

2. Mulitply the denominators.

3. Reduce the fraction if necessary.

Example:

2/5 x 3/4

2 x 3 = 6

5 x 4 = 20

2/5 x 3/4 = 6/20

Simplify:

6/ 20 = 3/10

So 2/5 x 3/4 = 3/10
