Answer: = √33

a^2 x b^2= c^2 remember a^2 x (b)4^2 = (c)7^2

a^2 x 16 = 49

a^2 x 16 -16 = 49-16

a^2= 33

To leave in radical form we write down all the square numbers we know.

and see if any numbers go into this as a product but if not (4,9,16,25 etc, as even squares we leave √33
