Answer:

Length=19 inches\\\\Width=5 inches

Explanation:

Let the width of the rectangle be 'w' inches

length of the rectangle= (2w+9) inches

Perimeter of the rectangle= 48 inches

Perimeter of a rectangle= 2(Length+Width)

48=2((2w+9)+w)\\\\48=2(2w+9+w)\\\\48=2(3w+9)\\\\48/2=3w+9\\\\24=3w+9\\\\3w=24-9\\\\3w=15\\\\w=15/3\\\\w=5 inches

Width= 5 inches

Length=(2w+9)=2(5)+9=19 inches

Length=19 inches\\\\Width=5 inches
