A subset is a set that has its whole member as part of a bigger set. If C is a subset of B, that means all of the members of the set C have to be a member of the set B too. In the Venn diagram you will see that entire set C is inside the set B.

The example can be many, I will give some example below

C= {5, 7, 9, 11}

C= {11, 13, 15}

C= {5, 15}

The member P(complement B) or P(B') is the negation of B. That means its all number that wasn't included in set B. In the Venn diagram we can see that the whole diagram is made of 11 numbers and B is made of 5 numbers. The complement will be equal 1 - P(B). The calculation will be:

B={2, 3, 4, 5, 7)

P(B)= 5/11

P(B')= 1- P(B) = 6/11
