Answer:

The radius for A = 1.91

The radius for B = 0.95

Explanation:

We are asked to find the circumference

Formula for circumference is

C = 2πr

C - the circumference of a circle

π - pie 22/7

r - radius of a circle

To get r, divide both sides by 2π

C/2π = 2πr/2π

r = C/ 2π

A. 12pie

Circumference = 12

r = 12/ 2 * 22/7

r = 12/ 44/7

r = 12 ➗ 44/7

Hint: changing a division to multiplication, we use the reciprocal of the value

r = 12 * 7/44

r = 84/44

r = 21/11

r = 1.91

B. 6m

Circumference = 6m

r = C/2π

r = 6/ 2 * 22/7

r = 6/ 44/7

r = 6 * 7/44

r = 42/44

r = 0.95
