In a store, 1 can of soup costs $1.80. The store also sells a pack of 6 cans of the soup. A customer who buys 1 pack saves 15% compared to buying 6 can separately. How much money does a customer save by buying 1 pack instead of buying 6 cans seperately?

Answer:

$1.62

Explanation:

1 can of soup costs $1.80

1 pack = 6 cans which should be 6 x $1.80 = $10.8

but she saves 15%

which is 15/100 x 10.8 = 15*10.8/100 = 162/100 = $1.62

so for buying 1 pack she saves $1.62
