The answer’s pretty simple

So basically first you have to find the area of both the square and the circle which is 400 cm^2 and 100pi cm^2 respectively.

Then we subtract the area of circle from the square
So that becomes 400 - 100pi
Taking 100 common, 100(4 - pi)

Now this is for the 4 remaining corners

To get the area of the shaded region, divide the remaining area by 4

Now we get 25(4 - pi)

That’s your answer
