Healthcare Crisis in the United States

There is a growing health care crisis in this country. Nearly 18% of the population of the United States was without health insurance in 2006. 12% of all children in the United States were without health coverage. Many hard working people in this country do not have the opportunity for health benefits through their employers. Steadily increasing insurance premiums are the number one cited reason by small businesses for not providing health insurance to their employees.
