Ellipsis can be used when words or sentences are omitted when the meaning is not changed.

Step-by-step explanation:

An ellipsis is a combination of dots which are mostly three dots. It is normally used when there is an omission of words or there can also be omission or missing the of sentence. A whole section of the text can also be missing with the use of the ellipsis.

But the major alternative or the use of the ellipsis is used that when these sentences or words can be missing or omitted but the actual meaning will not change.
