The value of HF is 16.

Solution:

Given data:

GF = 20 and EF = 25

To find HF:

Using geometric mean of right triangles,

GF² = HF × EF

(20)^2 = HF × 25

400 = HF × 25

Divide by 25 on both sides.

$(400)/(25)=(HF*25)/(25)

16 = HF

The value of HF is 16.
