Arabic

Persian

Turkish

Azerbaijani

Hebrew

Kurmanji

Step-by-step explanation:

Northern Africa and the Middle East are two neighboring regions that share lot of similar characteristics, especially cultural ones, including languages that are spoken. Some languages have become more widespread across these two regions over time, while some have experienced decline.

The most spoken language in these two regions is the Arabic language, being the official and most spoken language in the majority of the countries in these two regions. The second most spoken is the Persian, mostly spoken in Iran and Iraq, while close behind on third place comes the Turkish language, spoken in Turkey and parts of the neighboring countries.

The Azerbaijani, Hebrew, and Kurmanji close in the top six most spoken languages. The Azerbaijani falls into this list despite Azerbaijan not even being in these regions, but the majority of the Azerbaijani people actually live in Iran and there are almost 11 million speakers of the language there. The Hebrew is a language spoken only in Israel and Palestine and it is exclusively spoken by the Jewish people, while the Kurmanji is an Iranian language that is spoken mostly in Iran.
