Answer:

The slope of the line is 1 because to find the slope we have to use the slope formula which is y2-y1/x2-x1. So, the steps are shown below:

(-1,2) (5,8)

x1=-1

y1=2

x2=5

y2=8

8-2/5-(-1)

6/6 (- times - is + so we added 5+1 which is 6)
