Appling pythagoras theorem

square of Hyp = square of opposite + square of adjacent

Hyp is SP, TS=6 cm TO = 8cm

square of Hyp = square of opposite + square of adjacent

= 6^2 + 8^2

= 36 +64 = 100

SP = square root of 100 = 10
