We can just make 8 1/8 into a decimal to compare:

Step 1: Make 8 1/8 into improper fraction:

8 1/8 = 65/8

Step 2: Divide:

65 / 8 = 8.125

Step 3: Compare:

8.125 > 8.08

So 8.08 is less
