Can someone help me factor and find the GCF of this:

25b^2-20b

Also please explain deeply because i know how to find it for a trinomials but this one has only two numbers not three so its tricky

Answer:

5b(5b-4)

Explanation:

If you are having trouble think of it as a fraction what can you take out and still keep the equation equivalent.

In this case the GCF is 5b because you can distribute out a 5 and a b from both terms.

Finally if you want to check just distribute the 5b back in and you should get the original equation.
