Laguana's Truck Rentals charges $20 plus $2 per mile.

Total cost of Laguana's Truck =
20+2m .... (1)

Salvatori's truck rentals charges $3 per mile.

Total cost of Salvatori's truck =
3m ... (2)

We need to find the number of hours after that the total cost for both companies will be the same.


3m=20+2m


3m-2m=20


m=20

Therefore, after 20 miles the total cost for both companies will be the same.
