1) so we have to solve for "h", this means we have to mover everything else to the other side so

formula of a triangle: (bh)/2=a

bh=2a

(since b and h are being multiplied together we need to divide) h=(2a)/b

now that we have our formula for height, we need to use it to find height

so

h=2*48/12

h=96/12

h=8

the height is 8 cm
