Priya has a recipe for banana bread. She uses 17.5 cups of flour to make 5 loaves of banana bread. Andre will follow the same recipe. He will make B loaves of banana bread using F cups of flour. Write a simplified proportional equation that represents the relationship between B and F.

Explanation:

While making banana bread, Priya uses 17.5 cups of flour to make 5 loaves of banana bread.

That means

17.5 cups of flour is required for 5 loaves of banana breads.

So, F cups of four will be required to make number of banana breads =
(5* F)/(17)

As mentioned in the second part of question, the number of banana breads is equal to B loaves.

So,
B=(5F)/(17)

So the relation between cups of flour and number of loaves of banana breads is 5F = 17B.
