Answer:

multiply the number within parenthesis by itself the number of times equivalent to the exponent.

for example

1) 6^3 = 6*6*6 = 216

2) 4^2 = 4*4 = 16

3) 9^3 = 9*9*9 = 729

4) 8^3 = 8*8*8 = 512

5) 3^3 = 3*3*3 = 27

6) 2^3 = 2*2*2 = 8

7) 7^3 = 7*7*7 = 343

8) 5^3 = 5*5*5 = 125

9) out of frame

10) out of frame

11) 9^2 = 9*9 = 81

12) 4^2 = 4*4 = 16

13) 12^2 = 12*12 = 144

14) 6^2 = 6*6 = 36

15) 10^2 = 10*10 = 100

16) 5^2 = 5*5 = 25

17) 3^3 = 3*3*3 = 27

18) 10^3 = 10*10*10 = 1000
