Answer:

(110-44) = 22(5-2)

Explanation:

GCF: means greatest common factor

How can we find the GCF of two numbers?

for the GCF of two numbers, first we find their prime factorization.

GCF is the product of all the primes that appear in both factorizations.

Expression Given:

(110-44)

As we know, the prime factorization of 110=2x5x11

and 44=2x2x11

So the GCf of 110 and 44 is 2x11=22

Rewriting the above expression using GCF and distributive law, we get the following expression

(110-44) = 22(5-2)

simply we took their GCF as common factor and wrote the given expression in the form of distributive law of multiplication over subtraction.
