Area = 56 square feet

Explanation:

Here we have , the top of a display counter at a store is in the shape of a trapezoid . the lengths of the front back and with in feet of the top of the display counter . Complete question is given below , We need to find area of trapezoid with dimensions :

a = 4\\b = 12\\h = 7

Area of trapezoid =
(a+b)/(2) (h)

Area = (a+b)/(2) (h)

Area = (4+12)/(2) (7)

Area = (16)/(2) (7)

Area =8 (7)

Area = 56

Therefore,
Area = 56 square feet.
