x= -6

Explanation:

first you want to get rid of the 4 so on both sides you subtract 4

4-x²=-32

-4 -4 that will then make the problem

-x²= -36 to get rid of the square you must do the opposite, square root (
√(36)) so it will get rid of the ²

-x= 6 then you have to get rid of the neggative on x so you will add a negative to 6

x=-6
