Geoff needs to create a password for his email account. The password most have three letters. How many different passwords can he make? Assume he may not have use each letter more than once.

He can make 8 passwords.

Since there are 26 letters you need to divide 26 by 3 which is the amount of letter he has to use.

26 divided by 3 is 8.6 repeating and you can't have 0.6 of a password so you drop it
