Blakemore shows an image of a soccer game and explains the social emotional responses that are obviously taking place in the picture. Provide an example of when a group of people responded to the same social situation (in similar or different ways). How could you tell if they were responding in the same or different manners?

Answer:Based on the image shown, a group of people has a similar response in a Super Bowl party where the social situation is a touchdown from the same team. An overwhelming joy that would make your arms raised and yell “YES”. Meanwhile, the other team might be upset that the team they are supporting did not get the precious touchdown. Moreover, the men who wears red were all reacting in a similar manner for they all had their arms behind their heads with disappointment on their faces and on the other hand, the men in yellow had their arms up and were happy and excited with the touchdown.
