Equation of the line is
y=(2)/(3)x-(8)/(3).

Solution:

Slope (m) =
(2)/(3)

Point
(x_1, y_1)=(-5, -6)

Point - slope form:

y-y_1=m(x-x_1)

$y-(-6)=(2)/(3)(x-(-5))

$y+6=(2)/(3)(x+5)

$y+6=(2)/(3)x+(10)/(3)

Subtract 6 from both sides.

$y+6-6=(2)/(3)x+(10)/(3)-6

$y=(2)/(3)x+(10-18)/(3)

$y=(2)/(3)x-(8)/(3)

Equation of the line is
y=(2)/(3)x-(8)/(3).
