f(x) = x² - 7x - 18

f(x) = a(x-h)² + k

= a(x² - 2xh + h²) + k

= ax² - 2hx + h² + k

a = 1

-7x = -2hx

7 = 2h

(7/2) = h

h² + k = -18

(7/2)² + k = -18

(49/4) + k = -18

k = -18 - (49/4)

k = -18 - 12,25

k = -30,25
