Pythagorean Theorem:

a^2 + b^2 = c^2

Since 10 and 24 are the legs, "x" has to be the hypoteneuse. "a" and "b" are the legs (10 and 24).

Now, replace the values in.

10^2+24^2 = x^2

x^2 = 100+576\\x^2 = 676\\x = 26

Hope this helped! :)
