Although both seen as pets and companions to humans, the difference between the two animals are pretty significant. While dogs are loyal and obedient, cats tend to be more independent and not as needy. Dogs will give you their unconditional love and trust (if not mistreated) and will need extra care attention such as feeding, bathing, and walks. Unlike dogs, cats are able to care for themselves, such as grooming, hunting, or being able to wonder off on their own. Though both having similar roles, the differences between dogs and cats are noticeable and noteworthy.

There is also differences in structures,features,and sizes.Though dogs come in many sized like tall,medium,small,and even tiny.Cats on the other hand usually are not big animals but some may be big in weight or some might be tall and scrawny it all depends on that cat.Dogs and cats also have different bone structures making them very distinctive.So in conclusion dogs and cats are different animals that both are usually there for the same purpose to be a good companion to you and your family.
