Given the 2 equations

y = 4x → (1)

2y + 2.5x = 105 → (2)

Substitute y = 4x into (2)

2(4x) + 2.5x = 105, that is

8x + 2.5x = 105

10.5x = 105 ( divide both sides by 10.5 )

x = 10

Substitute x = 10 into (1)

y = 4x = 4 × 10 = 40
