Inaccurate perception

Step-by-step explanation:

Inaccurate perceptions are wrong perceptions about something.

Inaccurate perceptions arises, when perceptions or one’s own views or ideas about something are so fixed that altering them becomes difficulty and a person thinks what he or she is only right, and does not value other’s thoughts or perceptions about the same thing.

In the above case, even though Carter tells to Nikolai that the play (Titanic) is very exciting, Nikolai does not believe him because according to his perception plays are boring. So this will make him to miss a chance of watching and enjoying a very interesting play like Titanic.

Inaccurate perceptions often mislead our judgment and one might miss valuable opportunities or chances, lead to wrong conceptions in a relationship etc.

Hence, one must think, analyze and judge accurately and avoid inaccurate perceptions .
