Find the value of y:

for which the value of 1.7y+37 is 14 less than the value of 9.3y–25

Please explain

Answer:

Anything with a negative value in for y= makes it a decreasing graph if y values the same. But for this y= 1.7 you can call y= 20 to make 1.7 =37 and 9.3 would then = 9x20 to equal 180+13 remainder also 193-25 and see that 20 is way too much as 193-25 =168 but if you take away zero off of 20 and try too you have your answer.
