cherry had 10 buttons in her collection. cherry made a deal with a friend that allowed her to receive 5 new buttons per week. after a certain number of weeks, cherry had acquired a total of 50 buttons! how many weeks had cherry's friend given her buttons?

Answer:

There are 50 chocolates, and 5 children. Each child gets an equal amount and that still leaves 10 left over. How many did each child get?

Explanation:

The x will be 8. Each of the 5 children gets 8 so (5*8), that is 40 and add 10 to get 50.
