A) (-3x) (-2xy)

Multiply the numbers and get 6xxy (6x^2y)

B) 3x^2(xy^3)

add up exponents in both... so 3 x^ (2+1) y^(3)

making it 3x^3y^3 (3x cubed y cubed)

C) 2a^2 (-3ab^3)

Do the same as above, but multiply the coefficients as well.

2*-3 = -6, a^(2+1), and b ^3

-6a^3b^3 (negative six a cubed b cubed)

D) -4x (-5x^2 y)

Follow same steps as C

-4 * -5 = 20, x^(1+2 ) = x^3, y

20x^3y (twenty x cubed y)
