ok so....

The cage is $40 or 40 dollars.

To find what the 2 bowls are, you just Subtract $40 from $54. You then get $14. now subtract that from what I like to call "A Numbers Double". A Numbers Double is when you add a number by itself. A example of that would be <<< Ex: 24, to find 24's double you have to find the best number to subtract to, you know when it's the answer when its even to the number you subtracted from. so lets try... 9, so 24 - 9 is 15, hmm.... that doesn't work. so now lets try 10, 24 - 10= 14, that still doesn't work. so now lets bump the number up a little, how bout... 12, 24 - 12 is 12, so that means 12 is correct, cause it is even to the number we subtracted 24 to.>>>

So now the question.

We have 14, now lets subtract that. 14's double is 7, and to check that, you have to subtract 14 from 7, the problem looks like this <<< 14 - 7 >>> The answer to that is 7, and its correct cause its the same number.

So the answer to that question is <<<< 7 >>>>

I hope that help you with your question <<Mathmatics.>>

Answer:

7 dollars.

Explanation:

54-40=14.

14 is compromised of the 2 bowls.

14 divided by 2 is 7.

This means 7 is the cost of 1 bowl

Hope this helped!
