1. George is an eighty year-old man in relatively good health. However, he sees many of his friends dealing with healthcare issues and how sometimes, families bicker over the healthcare decisions of a loved one who is incapacitated. George would like to be confident that no issues like that would arise in the event of a decline in his mental function so he is going to issue what type of legal document(s) that will be effective in the event he becomes incapacitated?

Answer: He is going to issue an ADVANCE DIRECTIVE.

Explanation: An advance directive is a document outlining a person's end-of-life medical and healthcare wishes.

It is also known as living will, personal directive, advance healthcare directive, medical directive or advance decision.

This document specifies what actions should be taken for their health if they are no longer able to make decisions for themselves because of illness or incapacity.
