Answer:

h = 3√6 ft

Explanation:

Given Area of the triangle = 27 ft²

Also given that Base = Height

Therefore, such triangle are called Isosceles Right angled triangle.

We know that Area of a triangle = 1/2 base x height

Area = 1/2 x (height)²

27 = 1/2 x (height)²

(Height)² = 54

height = √54

h = √54

h = √2 x 3 x 3 x 3

h = 3√2 x 3

h = 3√6 ft

OR h ≈ 7.35 ft

Explanation:

area \: of \: triangle = (1)/(2) * base * height \\ \\ 27 = (1)/(2) * h * h \\ \\ 27 * 2 = {h}^(2) \\ \\ {h}^(2) = 54 \\ \\ h = √(54) \\ \\ h = 7.34846923 \\ \\ h \approx7.35 \: units
