Height of a triangle: The perpendicular line dropped onto its base from the corner opposite the base.

Parallelogram: Shapes that have four sides with two pairs of sides that are parallel

Perpendicular: A straight line at a 90° angle given to a line, plane, or any surface.

Polygon: A shape with at least three straight sides and angles, typically five or more.

Origin: The point or place where something begins or starts.

Triangle: A shape with three straight sides and three angles

Vertex: Each angular point of a polygon, polyhedron, or other figure/ shape.

What is the formula for a parallelogram?

Area=Base*Height

What is the formula for a triangle?

Area= Height*Base/2
